this is really a simple wide-legged stretch to prep for the following pose. you want to hold this for 8-10 breaths to really stretch your back and hamstrings


Trikonasana Variation
this triangle pose variation serves as an excellent stretch to your hamstrings, core and back. you will feel this stretch particularly between your shoulder blades as well. 

T-Tips: 

  • to enter this pose, simply shift one hand towards the center, keeping your back straight and hips forward
  • begin to twist up, keeping both arms straight, hips aligned forward
  • look up towards your raised hand, and breath for 3-4 breaths
  • switch and repeat!
